يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قُوا أَنفُسَكُمْ وَأَهْلِيكُمْ نَارًا

O you who believed protect yourselves and your families from Hellfire

Prophet Muhammad ﷺ also said: "Every one of you is a guardian over his dependents and is responsible for the action of these persons who are dependent on him."

Children, no doubt, are a Blessing of Allah SWT. From the time a baby is conceived, we start planning ahead for their future, and the joy that comes with its arrival has no bounds. The love for our child in our hearts is something so natural and it comes with no strings attached.

But we must remember that children are an amanah (trust) from Allah SWT, and therefore, we have certain duties and responsibilities towards them, and Allah SWT, for He is The One who blessed us with them in the first place. Allah mentions wealth and children together, many a time in the Quran. Both, wealth and children is a test to us, to test how we deal with this Blessing.

In this course we will look into the basics of how to develop them: -
➟ Religiously
➟ Physically
➟ Emotionally
➟ Mentally (their Education)

Testimonials

I have attended previous courses of Learn Islam and was hoping to learn about Islamic view on raising children. I am super grateful to Allah that I came across this course through you, Alhamdulillah. I had many queries regarding sensitive topics like when to teach about sex or when can disciplining children become a form of oppression, which were very nicely addressed here. I loved the fact that along with knowing several does and don't this course also teaches how to instill or avoid those things. Best thing about the course is its free and convenient. Keep up the great work of sadaqa, jazaak Allahu Khair.

SubhanAllah As a teacher of Emaan I really enjoyed the part explaining even more how important it is for us to have the correct understanding and knowledge to educate and teach the children properly.

The short course on Parenting was an eye opener. It taught so many aspects of Parenting starting even before being a parent. It allows young parents to get a clear idea within a week to learn how they should deal with their children. So many things we parents take lightly like promising a gift or sweet to a child and then not fulfilling it without knowing we are actually teaching them to break promises.

So many acts like when and why smacking is allowed, importance of treating kids with gentleness etc. Jazzak Allah khair to the TEAM LEARN ISLAM for bringing about so many good content and courses.

As a revert muslimah and mum of two boys it was so useful course alhamdulillah. Very easy to understand and loved how a little topic by topic come day after day, not big source material in once. I think the course is well think trough MashaAllah. Loved how every aspect is provided with hadith and verses from Quran.

Ketija Alksne - UK

I always liked the simple layout of Learn Islam and I haven't faced any major glitch as of now.

My favourite part of this course was the advices or guidence for saving our children from the modern harmful lifestyle and a rotten culture. I think this should be our main focus how can we save them from these modern fetnah and how giving a good religious teaching might help them live a life in the path of Allah.

I have also gained many things about myself and also came to know about many new hadeeths. I can use this knowledge to encourage my cousins, siblings to be serious about Islamic education. Also when I have a child, I hope Allah would help me raise them in the environment which is influenced by Allah and it's Messenger (saw).

Asaur Rahman - India

This is the short and power pack course which covers almost all the topics that are must for mindful and conscious parenting. May Allah help us implement these ahadees in our daily lives. I have gained a lot of knowledge regarding how to raise a good Muslim inculcated with all the great qualities which will help the child in this world and in the Aakhirah.

Shabnam Kapadia - UAE

At the beginning I thought it just a simple course.... Now realize that it should be recommended to others too... Definitely... Most importantly I like the question part we had the chance to recollect all the hadees we learnt. Alhamdulillah Overall it was complex package.

Hurmath Begum Sultan - Qatar

SubhanAllah and honestly I am in awe with this course because this is badly needed in today's society. This course should impact all the participants. Islamic values are given priority in this and that is very very important. Muslims are gradually drifting away from Allah due to bad influence so a course like this would revive people.

Fathima Zahan - Saudi Arabia

Alhamdulillāh the course had quiet many modern aspects reflected in it and taught very simply.

The hadith mention at every topic really helps in getting a deeper understanding and connection with Islâm.

I like the psychological part being taken care of for kids as it is very rare for people to talk about it in Islâm.

This is one of the few courses I personally feel is very beneficial and rich in information for the ummāh. It covers many areas and considering a lot of things that are important to address. For example, sex edu.,gender equality in Islam etc

Jazākumullāhu khayrā. Bārak Allāhu Feekum.

Samaa Maqsood Ali Khan, India

The most liked part of this course to me, is the way it was organized by starting from choosing the right person to marry.

The way it teaches one how to relate with his children right from birth to their adulthood and even to their death which is inevitable.

A lot has been gained, as well as my knowledge in the area of child up bringing, training and guidance have been increased.

Naseer Omar - Nigeria

I have done many previous courses of learn islam. The best part of these courses is that all the important infomation is given in a very compact form, easy to understand, easy to read, takes very less time to read, understand and memorise. Written in very simple form. I love learn islam courses. Every information given has reference with quran and sunnah. Nothing is invented of their own. Everything taught to us is either Allah's words or our beloved prophet Muhammad's words.

Husna Siddiqua - UAE

A very insightful and enlightening course.i liked the simplicity in language, flow of topics and the realistic and very practical approaches of the suggestions to make changes into our family lives and how we bring out our kids. Most important is that we should start making dua long before conception and continue still throughout pregnancy and all of your childs life.My take home message is that being a righteous parent doesnt automatically guarantee a righteous child.Effort has to be put and hardwork emphasized on the moral upbringing.Jazakumullah kheyr i feel soo happy and prepared to now start making dua for my unborn kids in shaa Allah. May Allah swt grant us tawfiq to be good parents whose kids will be their salvation in akhera and make them.proud even in dunia due to proper upbringing.
