Major sins. A topic which I was eagerly searching to know. As for one who is on Tawheed and performing obligations then the next step shoould to be to know what are the Major sins to avoid. When we know in detail about what are major sins, their rulings & punishment, we are better equipped to avoid it, for example we never consider geebath backbiting, it's common, but now in discussions amongst famlies I remember this and try to avoid it.

I was told about the website and about this course (Major Sins) the same day when the course started, I was very excited to learn but was afraid that I will lose this interst soon, too. After two weeks, I found that my interst has risen by every class, and already missing having the daily classes. Many sins that my community commits, which I never thought are sins at all, are actually major sins. Sometimes I felt that I'm lost, everything around me is a major sin then... but the final and incredible class (Repentence) encouraged me, and gave me hope.

This course has brought a new goal to my life, taking a course about Islam in English makes me constantly dreaming to be a Dayiah for non-arabs, I already started conveying the message to my relatives, but it would be a blessing to be able to teach Islam teachings to foreigners In Sha Allah. The Admins are very kind mashaAllah, answers our questions, and encouraged me to act kindly with everyone, too. Jazakum Allahu Khairan, this course is the best motivation and inspiration I've had so far in my life

I was always afraid to talk about relegious issues when setting with my family and relatives, since I've grown up in a "FREE" environment, but this course encouraged me very much to start discussing relegious issues and advising people to correct a specific belief or action. My family noticed the change, I started praying, not backbiting, and stopped doing many sins Alhamdulillah, and the last class about Repentence is the best ever, so inspirational.

Knowing what Allah has forbidden and what Allah has permitted helps me recognize His grace and Rahma upon his creatures, every Tashree' is put to make the world -around us and inside us- a peaceful place.

What I like is, it changes your mindset and makes you see things in different way as we are approaching the end of time where haram become so normalize that halal is seen as something extra.

I liked the way the course is designed. All major sins are categorised under topics to make it helpful for understand and remember. Though I personally had the book "Al-Kabair" by Imam Dhahabi, I never had a chance to read it Alhamdulillah this course made me do that.

I've gained a lot...I liked how the discussion is placed into divisions of classes.

I love how the Major sins are classified into classes and under it, there are still divisions. For instance, major sins that cause harm to other, those for personal gains etc.

- I learnt the ways to seek for repentance and the conditions in making sincere repentance...

- I get to read and know some Sunnahs of the prophet (s.a.w) that I thought were just 'wise sayings'

- this programme made me have 'halaal leisure' alhamdulillah and jazaakumullahu once again to the organizers

- every minute spent reading material was never a waste...I enjoyed it!
